LIFE SUPPORT PROTECTION
It is very important to let us know if you or someone at your home uses a Life support machine.
We'll make sure you're informed of any planned interruptions in your energy supply by registering your house as needing a continuous supply. This implies that you will be covered by Life Support protections, which include at least four business days’ prior written notice of planned outages by retailer or distributor.
How to register Life support?
To register your life support equipment, please call us on 1300 110 100, email us at __________________. Alternatively, you can also let your distributor know and they will inform us.
Flipped Energy obligation
Flipped Energy will send you a medical confirmation form to complete and provide temporary life support protection to your premise to give you time to complete the form and return it to us. Once we receive the completed form we will flag your account as a Life support customer and will let you know about any unplanned electricity outage so that you can be ready with alternate options.
What you need to do
You’ll need to get a registered medical practitioner to complete and sign the medical confirmation form and return it within the requested time frame.
Please let us know if you require more time to return the form, so that we can provide you with some extension.
Unplanned power outages
We urge you to prepare a plan of action in case of an unexpected power outage like those caused by storms and bushfires.
